Public Affairs Office Information
The Public Affairs Office is brought to you by Chief of Public Affairs D7EAD. in command is currently the Chief of Public Affairs. The members of the Public Affairs Officer are here for your visual satisfaction aspects of the United States Army. Different activities will be conducted throughout the span of the United States Army to keep the enjoyment level at a high rate. We value every single one of you and your commitment to us, so we are here to grant you the rewards for that. Our number one rule in the Public Affairs Office is to HAVE FUN and enjoy.

Mission Statement: Provide the tools necessary to bring entertainment, competition, and ceremonial appearances alive in the U.S. Army. Hosting periodic events, hosting monthly events, and even conducting weekly interviews with the personnel of the U.S. Army can bring the entertainment level up and the moral encouragement going.
Department 1: Events Competitions
The first department is the Events Competitions team. The members of this team are in charge of the planning, writing, and hosting of the weekly competitions here at the U.S. Army. The members work under a team leader who assigns all tasks and assignments and also receives weekly reports. Events can include forum scavenger hunts, falling furni, bingo, or even a skylarking post. Events to follow certain ceremonies are also planned by these members.
Department 2: Graphics Communications
The second department is the Graphics & Communications team. Members of this team are always creating new visual concepts such as pictures, videos, websites and more. Some of the PROGRAMS we use are Photoshop, YouTube, Wikipages, Pixlr, and many more. This department is the one who makes the pictures you see around the forums, and even make their own personal pictures. Assignments are handed out weekly to create something new to benefit the U.S. Army.
Department 3: Interviews Surveys
The third and final department if the Interviewed Surveys team. Members of this team are in charge of interviewing and conducting surveys with the various members of the United States Army. Interviews contain questions that are both RoomControl and life related. Surveys can be either formal or informal questions about experienced here at the U.S. Army, or just simple life interests. Team members conduct 1 interview a week and will have a forum survey at least once a month that everyone takes part in.
For Anyone Interested:
Members of PUBLIC Affairs don't need to be experienced in ALL departments. You will be put into a department or departments that match your talents. Extensive training in the fields can be given by the leadership department of Public Affairs. If you are further interested in Public Affairs, you can always contact the CPA or the DCPA in-game or on the forums with any questions or comments you have. Applications are currently open to Sergeant and higher, and we allow double-MOSing. The application can be found on the MOS Information board.
